Our writing sessions are firstly, all about the writing and secondly, positive and encouraging. Having attended a number of creative writing classes and started a novel some time ago, I know what they mean. The Prize will be awarded for an original and previously unpublished playscript for theatre, radio or television, max 15 minutes in length.

Four entries will then be chosen to be performed and judged at a live performance in November at Storyhouse. Previous screenwriting experience is not required.
Note that stories uploaded by the entrant onto forums for peer-review and critiquing purposes only are not deemed to have been published. Only those who can attend the competition in Limerick will be eligible to compete in the final Sat 17th August.
They run for about six to nine months and you can work on them at your own pace.
